1N5 Provides QPR for St. Mary School Staff

On Wednesday, October 21st, 1N5 provided QPR training to the staff at St. Mary School in Hyde Park. QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) Gatekeeper Training for Suicide Prevention is a 1.5-hour educational program designed to teach lay and professional “gatekeepers” the warning signs of a mental health crisis and how to respond. St. Mary staff and administrators understand the importance of mental health education and are now trained to recognize and respond to a mental health emergency.
